Nominations Most Outstanding Student BA International Studies
At the BA International Studies' Graduation Ceremony, we traditionally award two so-called Golden Stork Awards. One is for the Best Thesis and the other for the Most Outstanding Student.
The Best Thesis is an award for which the lecturers nominate candidates and an independent academic jury decides on the winner. The Most Outstanding Student Award has up to now been decided upon by the Programme Board. This year we want to introduce a new system in which we would like to ask our graduating students to nominate a graduating colleague. You will receive more information in the coming weeks.
For now, you can already start thinking who you think deserves the Gold Stork Award for Most Outstanding Student. Someone who did not just show dedication to academic learning by for instance doing more than the required courses, but also someone who helped the functioning of the programme itself or the academic community behind it, or represented the values of the programme by aiding in making this a better world to live in for all through internships or volunteering.
