Have you already decided which Master’s you want to do? Or are you wondering which possibilities are out there? Come and find out what Leiden University has to offer at the Master's Open Day in Leiden and The Hague!

Leiden University offers more than 79 Master's programmes and nearly 200 specialisations, including many interesting options for International Studies graduates. 

Register for the Master's Open Day and attend the presentations of different programmes. You’ll be able to ask questions to the study advisers or strike up conversations with alumni or current master’s students. This way you’ll get a good idea of the content of your preferred master's, along with the career opportunities it will bring. 

Live Streams Leiden and The Hague
Not enough time to visit presentations in Leiden and The Hague? You can follow several livestreams during the Master's Open Day on location in The Hague or Leiden. The professor/lecturer is not physically present in the lecture hall, but students of the relevant programme will be present to answer your questions. You can sign up for the Live Streams via the registration form of the Master’s Open Day.

Your next step at the Faculty of Humanities

Leiden’s Faculty of Humanities offers a challenging and international study environment with an extensive portfolio of master’s programmes, interesting for graduates of the BA International Studies, including International Relations, European Union Studies, European Politics and Society and Philosophical Perspectives on Politics and the Economy

History Masters Specialisations
We also offer seven History specialisations, including the MA Cities, Migration and Global Interdependence and the interdisciplinary programme Governance of Migration and Diversity.This programme offers you the expertise from various disciplines and from three universities: Leiden University, Delft University and Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Area Studies and specialisations 
If you are interested in further developing your knowledge of your area of specialisation, Leiden University offers challenging and high quality MA (research) programmes, for example Master's in Asian Studies, Latin America Studies, Middle Eastern StudiesRussian and Eurasian Studies and North American Studies

The Humanities faculty of Leiden University ranks 23rd in the 2020 Times Higher Education Rankings of the world, 32rd in the 2019 QS World ranking in the subject of Arts and Humanities, 20th in the QS World rankings for History, and is ranked 29th in the QS World ranking for Politics and International Studies.
