Extra curricular information regarding the Middle East area can be found in a course on Blackboard. Students who are interested can enroll in the course.

Students of the International Studies program can enroll in the course “BA International Studies Middle East” by searching for this course on Blackboard. 

This Blackboard page offers a platform to all International Studies students who have chosen the Middle East as the area specialization, or for other students interested in the Middle East. Tutors and lecturers use this page to share information on study material, extra-curricular activities, internships and summer programs, as well as events and articles that are of interest to all International Studies students with a specialization in the region Middle East. Students can use the discussion boards to open threads about topics they wish to discuss with students across the various year groups. Topics can be practical (e.g. who wants to visit exhibition so-and-so together?) or content-related (e.g. collect literature on women participation in the second Gulf war).
