‘Mayors are often pragmatic administrators’
The role of mayors is changing from one where they are typically ‘security bosses’ within their own municipalities, to ‘super networkers’ who are increasingly engaged at regional and national levels. She was involved in the Governance sub-study of the evaluation of the 2012 Police Act by the Kuijken Commission
Dr Prins was interviewed by Bureau Regioburgemeesters. The bureau supports the regional mayors in all their national tasks within the sphere of security.
