Leiden astronomers in astronomy podcast
Five Leiden astronomers tell about science in the podcast Astronomy et al. This podcast was set up by Ricardo Garcia Soto in September 2016 and is focused on anyone who is interested in science.
The aim of the podcast is to share the wonders of astronomy, and to inspire and motivate people. In this podcast the listener learns about science from the point of view of a researcher, with questions such as why and how they do their work. The podcast is weekly and is suited for children. Nobel Prize winner Brian Schmidt tells about the Universe and dark energy in episode 2. The following Leiden astronomers can be heard in the podcast:
- Eleonora Zari - Searching for supermassive stars associations in Orion with Gaia (episode 3)
