Rankings

Leiden University has participated in two sustainability rankings for universities: the national Sustainabul and international UI Green Metric.

Sustainabul

Sustainabul is initiated by Studenten voor Morgen and measures sustainability based on education, research, operations and integral approach.

UI Green Metric

In 2022, Leiden University has reached the 12th place in the UI Green Metric out of 1050 participating universities globally. Full details on the ranking can be found here: UI Green Metric 2022
