About the Advanced Master’s in European and International Human Rights Law
Human rights are at risk in all societies. While various national, regional, and international instruments exist to protect these rights, some mechanisms prove more effective than others in specific situations. This Advanced Master’s programme examines the effectiveness of different human rights protection mechanisms, focusing not only on the law in the books but also on the law in action. You will also explore how the protection of human rights is shaped by political, social, and cultural contexts. As part of the programme, you will participate in a study trip to Strasbourg and/or Geneva.
