What should I do if I can't see presentations on the platform?
Always check first that your computer has a stable connection. Do you keep not seeing presentations? Refresh the page or open the link again from your confirmation email. For visitors from specific countries, the streaming tool we use to broadcast the presentations may have been blocked by the government so these presentations cannot be shown.

I have signed up, but unfortunately I cannot attend the Open Day on location. How do I unsubscribe?

I can't attend the Bachelor's Open Day. Where can I find more information about the master programmes?
You can find all information about the master programmes and specializations on the education pages

Can I visit the faculties and/or Leiden University at another time?
Yes, there are several information activities that take place throughout the year.

How do I get an entry ticket?
If you register for the Open Day via the registration form, you will immediately receive a confirmation email. This mail is your entry ticket, so keep it safe.

Did you delete the email by mistake? Request a new email here.

Why is there an entry ticket?
Because of the high interest in the Open Day, it is important to register in advance to ensure a spot at the presentation(s) of your choice. By registering you will receive an admission ticket and have priority over people who decide to come to the Open Day at the last minute (without registering in advance).

Do I have to bring my entry ticket printed out?
You may also show the proof on your phone.

I have indicated not to bring a parent/guide, but I want to change this. Is that possible?
You can change this via the link in your admission ticket if there is still room at the presentation(s). If a certain presentation is already full, it may be that your parent/guide cannot attend this presentation. Your parent/guardian can then wait for you with a cup of coffee or talk to students or advisors at the information market.

Can I really only bring one parent?
Due to high interest, you can really only bring one parent to the presentations. However, you may visit the information fair with two parents and one parent can wait with a cup of coffee while the other parent accompanies you during the presentation.

Travel directions to Leiden

Leiden University considers sustainability important, which is why we advise visitors to the Open Day to come by public transport as much as possible. Parking a car is often very expensive and it can be difficult to find a parking spot.

Bonus-tip: rent an OV-bike! That's a fun way to get to know the city and campus. In Leiden, shuttle buses run throughout Open Day to faculties at the Bio Science Park (Archaeology and Science) and the city center (Law and Humanities).

Do you come to the Open Day by car? Where can you park in Leiden?
The Leiden city center is almost entirely permit holder parking. It is best (and cheaper) to park in the parking garage. Park in Parking Garage Garenmarkt and walk within five to ten minutes to the Open Day locations in the city center. More information about parking garage Garenmarkt (location, rates and route) can be found here.

Visiting the Open Day locations at the Bio Science Park? Then park in the brand new parking garage Ehrenfestweg, easily accessible from the A44 via the Plesmanlaan. There are no parking spaces on the public road. More information about Parking Garage Ehrenfestweg (location, rates and route) can be found here.

There are also several general disabled parking spaces in the center of Leiden. As a disabled parking permit holder, you can also apply for a free disabled parking permit for Leiden. This allows you to park anywhere in Leiden city center. Read more on the municipal website.

The center of The Hague is very easy to reach by public transportation. The university locations of the Open Day are within a 5-minute walk from The Hague Central Station.

Take note! Plan your journey on time, because on Saturday 1 March, ProRail will be working on the tracks and platforms of The Hague Central Station. Therefore, no trains will run between The Hague Laan van NOI and The Hague Central and The Hague Holland Spoor and The Hague Central on that day.

Advice for your train journey to The Hague
- From The Hague Laan van NOI, you can take the metro to The Hague Central Station.
- Or choose the destination The Hague Holland Spoor. From there, you can catch the tram or bus to The Hague city centre.
- Note that your extra travel time can be up to 15 minutes.
- Plan your journey shortly before departure with the journey planner for the most up-to-date advice.

Do you come with your own transportation? The Hague has several parking garages and parking lots spread throughout the city.
