Student for a day Dutch Studies

Location

Cleveringaplaats 1
2311 BD Leiden

For international bachelor’s students who want to not just develop true fluency in the Dutch language, but also dive into the culture, history and mind-set of the Netherlands, there is no better place than the Leiden University Bachelor in Dutch Studies!

What is a Student for a day event?

During a Student for a Day event you will attend one or multiple first-year lectures. A current student joins you at the lectures and shows you around campus. Of course there is enough time to answer all your questions about the programme and studying in Leiden!

Who can take part?

The Student for a Day event is intended for people in their last years of pre-university education (like 5/6 VWO) or students of a (Dutch) university of applied sciences. Have you visited the website, watched the programme video and visited the Bachelor's Open Day? Then a Student for a Day event is the perfect moment to experience whether this programme suits you.

Keep me posted

Starting January 2025, new informational activities, such as Student for a Day events and Experience Days, will be announced. Would you like to know when you can sign up for an informational activity at Dutch Studies? Leave your details, and we’ll keep you informed. We’ll email you twice: once about the Student for a Day events and once about the Experience Day.
