This monthly lecture series explores the evolving relationship between technology and peacebuilding, examining both the risks and the benefits. Each session brings together experts to provide insights, case studies, and actionable strategies.

Lecture 1: Intersectional Bias: How AI and Social Media Impact Bias, Exclusion, Discrimination, and Power Inequalities

This lecture explores how technology, particularly AI and social media, can perpetuate bias and power imbalances, creating barriers to peacebuilding. The session examines the disparity in technology access between the Global North and South and outlines strategies for governments, NGOs and international organisations to foster inclusivity.
