The Environmental Peacebuilding Association® (EnPAx®) and the Grotius Centre for International Legal Studies at Leiden University are delighted to announce that the Third International Conference on Environmental Peacebuilding will take place between 19 and 21 June 2024. This three-day conference will be packed with high-level plenary sessions and breakout sessions, keynote speeches and a gala dinner at the Mauritshuis museum in The Hague. Pre-conference events will take place on Tuesday 18 June and will include training sessions, business meetings, side events and site visits. The conference will take place at Leiden University's Wijnhaven building in The Hague.
The conference will also include a Virtual Day, which will enable anyone who is unable to travel to The Hague to participate. The Virtual Day is scheduled for Wednesday 12 June.
The conference panelists and speakers will engage with all things environmental peacebuilding, including many related topics that are reflected in the conference themes:
- Water
- Climate change
- Peace, justice and accountability
- Data and digital technologies
- Natural resources and conservation
