Transformative Transdisciplinarity. Aligning Science and Society Through Community-Based Research?
Transdisciplinarity promises to align scientific and societal concerns through inclusive research practices that are co-produced with local communities. Based on fieldwork in fishing villages in the Northeast of Brazil, this talk explores whether transdisciplinary methods can fulfill their promise of more inclusive and equitable science.
