Online Master’s Experience: Master Transfusion Medicine and Cellular and Tissue Therapies

This online session on Thursday 23rd of February, is meant for students who consider our Master's programme.
In this session, we will continue on the basics knowlegde of our programme. Therefore, it is important that you have participated in the Master's Open Day in November, or have watched one of the recordings of our sessions(*).
Programme:
After a brief introduction, Prof. dr. Jaap Jan Zwaginga (LUMC programme director, clinical haematologist and transfusion specialist) and dr. Tanja Nikolic (MT3 tutor and translational scientist) will take you into a mini lecture where you will be able to choose between three topics related to blood transfusion and transfusion medicine:
- History of classical blood transfusion
- The principles of haematopoietic stem cell transplantation
- Tolerogenic DC therapy in type 1 diabetes
Finally there will be a Q&A with Professor Zwaginga and professionals from the field, who you can ask all your questions concerning our study programme.
