Exporation through the city center of Leiden
Did you know that antibiotic resistance is a growing problem? And did you know that bacteria can produce antibiotics?
For the Antibiotics Day of Leiden City of Science we have put together a fun scavenger hunt activity that junior high school students can take part in. The students will Using the app ActionBound, the students will receive a clue that will lead them to locations around Leiden where a QR code will be hidden, the students have to answer a question to get a new clue. Various researchers will be there to offer some information that can be used to answer questions that appear when the QR code is scanned. The aim is to teach the students about the topic of antibiotics and antibiotic resistance! Available in Dutch or English.

Duration: 1 – 1,5 hour
Start: City centre of Leiden, the exact location will be announced later. It is possible to leave at any moment during the day. Please fill in your preferences in the apllication form.
Group size: 30 students (the students are divided into groups of 4-6 students)
