The European Cultural Foundation (ECF), established in 1954, was created for the stimulation of a European sentiment, to promote the development and preservation of a feeling of mutual comprehension and democratic solidarity between the peoples of Europe by encouraging cultural and educational activities of common interest. The ECF thus engages in cultural programming to inspire people and communities to share, experience and imagine Europe. As part of this Culture and Politics specialisation event, an ECF representative will speak about the organisation’s ongoing programming as well as its public policy advocacy geared towards achieving its mission and programmatic goals. The talk will be followed by a Q&A session, so students are encouraged to come with questions that might deepen insight into the day-to-day workings of an active and well-connected NGO.

Culture and Politics Event Series
