Psychology is everywhere: a conflict arises among friends; your old neighbour suffers from Alzheimer’s and forgets who you are; you are an early riser while the rest of your family only comes to life in the evening. What lies at the root of it all? What do people do, why do they do it, and how do they experience what happens to them? Searching for answers to such questions is what psychologists do. During the English-taught bachelor’s programme in Psychology you gain skills in interviewing, observation and using statistical computer programmes, among others. Psychology is a very broad science, which allows you to find work in many different sectors. Health care, education, business and government: you can find your place in any of these branches.
