Are you curious about the societal challenges facing the world and do you want make an impact on society? Do you have an open mind and a curiosity to look at the world from different angles? At Leiden University College (LUC) The Hague, we study the Global Challenges: Peace & Justice, Diversity, Prosperity and Sustainability. By looking at these challenges through the lens of different disciplines such as economics, natural sciences, law or sociology, you will develop a unique perspective on the world and the skills to tackle them. This residential programme based in The Hague starts out broad and throughout your studies you will choose a major and electives to suit your interests. This combination of broad knowledge and specialised skills prepares you for a master’s degree or PhD programmes, and makes LUC alumni attractive to diverse organisations in both the public and the private sector. Examples of career perspectives include governmental and international institutions, multinationals, research institutes, think tanks and NGOs.
